Annual Oklahoma Recycling Festival

Festivals are celebrated for uniting people from all walks of life through music, food, and entertainment, but the Annual Oklahoma Recycling Festival is a unique event shifting the focus toward a greener and more circular Future.

THE 3RD ANNUAL OKLAHOMA RECYCLING FESTIVAL

The 3rd Annual Oklahoma Recycling Festival is a family-friendly event that is set to bring communities together on November 14, 2026 (from 10am-2pm), to celebrate recycling, sustainable living, eco-education, and environmental stewardship at the Canadian County Expo and Event Center in El Reno, Ok.

Open to all everyone regardless of city residency, the festival serves as a hub for recycling enthusiasts, families, and newcomers alike. Attendees can explore innovative recycled art, participate in educational games, upcycling and connect directly with the pioneering businesses and organizations driving change across Oklahoma’s recycling and sustainability industry. A core highlight of the event is its free, specialized waste collection drive. The festival offers Oklahomans a seamless opportunity to responsibly discard hard-to-recycle items free of charge.

Beyond waste diversion, the festival features an array of interactive, family-friendly activities. Children and adults can enjoy face painting, educational games, a recycling educational van, a practical clothing repair class, and getting a hands-on look at a real waste management truck. Plus, you will have the chance to take a picture with a human recycling bin! Onsite food vendors will also be cooking up a variety of local dining options for purchase.

The Oklahoma Recycling Festival seamlessly blends environmental action with community celebration. For more information regarding event or vendor space, please contact Ellen Bussert at or Keima Borsuah at
